The Killington Ski Club Masters Racing Program delivers high level coaching in both technique and on-hill tactics which concentrate on both masters level racing and safer high performance skiing under all conditions.

The Killington Ski Club has a robust racing history. Justifiably proud of our Junior Programs, the club is also home to a number of masters regional and national champions. This program, the oldest continuously running program of its type in the US, is geared toward masters racers as well as those high level recreational skiers who want to expand their understanding of the sport.

The Masters Racing program offers ten intensive three-hour sessions scheduled throughout the winter season where we adapt the latest world cup techniques and equipment to adult bodies and minds. Gate training, technique refinement and situational analysis of on-hill dynamics are stressed. In addition to training sessions at Killington, smaller groups participate in both “home” and “away” races. About 40% of our group enter at least two masters races a year. Some have won national championships; some go back home to their local race series and kick serious butt. Others simply surprise the heck out of their budding junior racers or old school “buddies” who had “given up” on them.
